Dear Member or Friend of Woodland Baptist Church,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! I pray that you and your family have recognized the blessings of God in your lives.

I want to remind you of the special Life in the Spirit weekend scheduled for this Friday, January 30th - Sunday, February 1st. You’ve been hearing a lot about it at church, and now it is almost here! I hope and pray that you have made arrangements to attend. There will be a place for every member of the family.

I am so excited to see what God will do! Our team has been hard at work - praying and preparing for the weekend. The team from Kentucky is excited, prayed up and ready for God to move. I pray that you are too! Feel free to call if you have any questions. Here is the schedule:

I’m excited about our 2nd annual Hunting Expo! Last year was a tremendous success and we anticipate the same for this year! We would like you to know a little about our church as you consider taking part in this event.

Woodland Baptist Church is a family – a family of Christians who desire to know Jesus and to make Him known. As born again believers, we enjoy worshipping our God and fellowshipping with one another. We worship God together through our Sunday worship services and we grow in knowledge of Him and His Word through preaching, Sunday School, Wednesday night Bible study, and various special events throughout the year. Our teaching and preaching is based upon God’s precious Word, the Bible. We also minister to those in need – spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

We are children of God on a journey to become what He would have us to be and share with others what they can become in Him! The Hunting Expo is an event that God planted in the hearts of our people as a time of Christian fellowship and a time of reaching others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Thank you for your interest in this year’s Hunting Expo. We can’t wait to see what God will do!

Woodland Baptist Church celebrated 60 years of serving the Lord in Springfield. It was a great time of reflecting on the goodness of God. A few pictures are posted in our gallery. Click here to see them.

Isn't God great?? What a blessing Bobby, Lollie, and family have been. God has been moving in our services - and this is only the beginning! I have been encouraged, challenged, and reinvigorated - and tonight is only our third meeting! Please invite those who have been out. We don't want anyone to miss out!

Continue to pray - pray for the church, pray for the lost, pray for your families.... and when you're done praying...pray some more......pray, pray, pray...

Revival meetings have been scheduled for March 26-April 1st.
Pastor Bobby Ready will be preaching God's Word and his wife Lollie will be leading us in worship.

Pray that God will ignite a passion for Himself in our hearts
Pray that many lost will come to know our Lord and Savior!
Pray for Brother Bobby as he prepares to share God's Word with us.
Pray for our community.

Happy New Year everyone! We had a great time at our first annual New Year's Eve bonfire. It was a great time of fellowship in the Lord. Thanks to everyone who came out. Also, a big thanks to David and LaDonna Porter for all of the hard work they put into getting it together and for all who donated money for the SUPER fireworks display.
